Connect Andy to your AI app

Pick the app you use. Every app signs in with your Andy account.

Before you start

  • Andy tools need a Workspace on the Pro Max plan. You sign in with your Andy account, so no API key is needed.
  • Have more than one Workspace? Andy asks you to pick one in the chat.

For claude.ai and the Claude desktop app. Andy then works in your Claude chats.

  • Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector.
  • On Claude Team or Enterprise, an owner adds Andy first in Organization settings → Connectors. Then each person opens Andy in Customize → Connectors and taps Connect (step 3).

    Step 1: Add Andy as a connector

    Tap Connect to Claude and sign in to Claude if asked. Claude opens Add custom connector with the name Andy and the URL filled in. Tap Continue.

    Connect to Claude

    Claude warns that the link came from outside: that's expected when the URL starts with https://app.andypartner.com. If Claude says the URL already exists, Andy is already added: open it in Customize → Connectors.

    Doing it by hand, or the box didn't open? In Claude go to Customize → Connectors → + Add → Add custom connector, type Andy and paste this URL:

    Step 2: Keep the detected settings

    Claude has already picked the options marked Detected. Change nothing. Scroll down, leave Request headers empty and tap Add.

    Claude opens Andy's connector page and shows You're not connected to Andy yet. Tap Connect.

    Andy's sign-in opens. Sign in to Andy if asked, then tap Allow. Claude returns with Andy connected. You don't need an API key.

  5. Claude asking permission to use Andy in a chat

    Start a new chat, for example “Use Andy: what's new in my inbox?”. The first time, Claude asks to use Andy: tap Allow once or Always allow. If Claude doesn't use Andy, tap + → Connectors and turn Andy on.

Once Andy is connected, try one of these.

Sign in or API key?

Sign in (recommended)

For apps you use yourself, like Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. You paste the URL and sign in to Andy. No API key needed. The app can see every Workspace you can see.

API key

For scripts, servers and CI, where nobody can sign in. One key opens one Workspace with full admin access, so keep it secret. Create it in the App under Workspace → API Integration.
