How do I connect my chatbot to Google Drive?

From the dashboard, go to Integrations > Google Drive and connect your account with OAuth. Then select the Google Docs and Sheets you want to import (up to 10 files per upload) and Andy turns them into its knowledge base.

What file types can Andy read from Google Drive?

Andy imports Google Docs and Google Sheets. The text in those files is processed and used to answer questions. PDF and Word files are not supported yet, so use Google Docs or Sheets for your content.

Does Andy sync with my documents in real time?

No. Andy takes a snapshot of the document when you import it. When you update the file in Drive, hit Refresh to re-import the latest version. It is not an automatic live sync, but a manual refresh whenever you choose.

Can Andy edit or write to my Google Drive files?

No. The integration is read-only: Andy reads your Google Docs and Sheets to answer questions, but never modifies, writes, or deletes anything in your Google Drive. Your files stay exactly as you left them.

Which plan includes the Google Drive integration?

The Google Drive integration is available on the Pro and Pro Max plans. The Starter plan has a temporary promotional window to try it. You can import documents in Spanish, English, and other languages.
